A Comparison of Two Pictures by Tommy 9720805

Recently, one of my friend painted “Confucius” in his mind. I like the style from his art ability. So I found another “Confucius” from web to make a comparison. The two pictures have many similar and different points.
Such as the role, they both are Confucius who is a respectable teacher in Chinese history. A second area of similarity is clothes. For example, the modeling of their hat is equal. The pants which Confucius wears on the left picture are the same as the pants on the right. It seems that the look of the pants are far back in history. The next similar point is face. Not only forehead but also beard have a great resemblance to each other. The two Confucius’ forehead is very long, as beard is.
Besides the similar points, there are many difference in two pictures. One difference is rate. My friend’s “Confucius” is very short and big. In contrast, the one on the right is tall and thin. Maybe we can recognize the “Confucius” on the left as a version of cute. However, the “Confucius” on the right is a version of reality. The next different point is color. Obviously, the left side has only black and white color. The right side is different from the picture of my friend, it is full of colors. Because my friend is too lazy to color it.
